New RevDem Editors – Call for applications – OSUN Forum

Background:

The Central European University’s Democracy Institute (CEU DI) is a research institute that studies issues related to de-democratization and re-democratization throughout the world.  The CEU DI is based in Budapest, Hungary and is embedded in a world-wide network of affiliated academic institutions. 

The Review of Democracy (RevDem) is the on-line journal of the CEU DI, and an autonomous institution within the CEU DI. RevDem publishes articles and podcasts, on subjects related to democracy throughout the world. RevDem takes an academic and critical approach to all aspects of democratization. Its current main foci are histories of ideas, political economy and inequalities, rule of law, as well as the relations between democracy and culture.

Role of the new Editors:

RevDem is recruiting three new editors to expand its geographic and sectoral reach and to work closely with the Open Society University Network (OSUN), especially with the consortium members of the OSUN Forum project. The new editors will focus on the cross-regional scholarly dialogue on development and democracy issues.

 Specifically, the editors will be expected to:
